About me
Alejandra Rivera is a Mexican dancer and choreographer whose work explores sociopolitical themes, mexican folklore, and its people through improvisational movement and physical theater. Guided by a deep commitment to art as a tool for social change, she has showcased her work at various national and international festivals.

Her artistic work is based on four fundamental axes of work: the creation of works and stage projects, awareness-raising actions in vulnerable communities, corporal research through improvisation and theatre techniques, and the transmission of artistic knowledge through workshops.
Experience
Her artistic journey includes co-creating an independent transmedia performance project, teaching in sociocultural programs across Mexico, and establishing an artist residency space in Tulum. Graduated from Professional Dance School of Mazatlán under the direction of Delfos Contemporary Dance in 2020 with a second bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
